The Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-Up Unit is establishing offices at government departments. To familiarize government departments with the concepts behind Oman Vision 2040, a familiarization meeting was held. The intermediary offices are key to the success of Oman Vision 2040, extending technical support and transferring skills and knowledge about the methodologies and functions intended to advance the long-term vision’s goals.
In the meeting, a model for the proposed offices was envisioned, along with their guiding principles in accordance with the proposed governance framework. Teams assigned to the offices will ensure quality plans and performance management for Oman Vision programs. Teams from the newly established offices will meet regularly with the Follow-Up Unit for the Vision 2040 implementation to ensure the effectiveness of their roles.
